THE GREATEST FATHER OF ALL
* John 1:11-12 – “(Jesus) came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the (children) of God, even to them that believe on His name.”
* Romans 10:9-10 – “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
* Galatians 3:26 – “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”
* Romans 8:15 – “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”
* Ephesians 1:2-6 – “Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in The Beloved.”
* Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.”
* Matthew 6:1 – “Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father Who is in heaven.”
* Matthew 7:11 – “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?”
* Matthew 18:14 – “Even so it is not the will of your Father Who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.”
* Luke 6:36 – “Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”
* Luke 12:32 – “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
* John 20:17 – “Jesus saith unto her, Touch Me not; for I am not yet ascended to My Father: but go to My brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father, and your Father; and to My God, and your God.”
* 1 John 3:1-2 – “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the (children) of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.”

SOME WORDS ABOUT US
WHAT DO YOU THINK? – We have all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, “Jesus is Lord,” you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

DAYS OF PRAISE -BECOMING THE GOSPEL

Becoming the Gospel
by Henry M. Morris III, D.Min.
“Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.” (Philippians 1:27)
The Greek word translated “conversation” emphasizes “citizenship,” with all of its attendant loyalties and expectations for appropriate behavior. The structure of the introductory word “only” indicates that it is an adjective, not an adverb. Thus, the opening phrase could be rendered, “Your only citizenship must be lived out so that it becomes the gospel.”
The New Testament employs three different Greek terms that are translated “conversation.”Anastrepho is best understood as “dwelling” or “remaining” in a certain place: “Put off concerning the former conversation,” we are commanded in Ephesians 4:22. Tropos stresses the manner of life, perhaps implying the reputation one gains by the lifestyle: “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example” (Jude 1:7). Politeuo, the term used by Paul in our text, conveys citizenship: “For our conversation is in heaven” (Philippians 3:20,politeuma). The emphasis of our text is on our lifestyle and testimony as “ambassadors” in a foreign land (2 Corinthians 5:20). As such, we are to live in a manner that “becometh” the gospel—“that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called” (Ephesians 4:1).
We are to stand fast in a unity of one spirit with one mind. Paul closed his letter to the Philippians with this: “Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved” (Philippians 4:1). HMM III
THE BREAD OF LIFE-EAT MY FLESH AND DRINK MY BLOOD!

EAT MY FLESH AND DRINK MY BLOOD!
John 6
47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
48 I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE.
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.
51 I AM THE LIVING BREAD WHICH CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN. IF ANYONE EATS OF THIS BREAD, HE WILL LIVE FOREVER; AND THE BREAD THAT I SHALL GIVE IS MY FLESH, WHICH I SHALL GIVE FOR THE LIFE OF THE WORLD.”
52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”
53 THEN JESUS SAID TO THEM, “MOST ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, UNLESS YOU EAT THE FLESH OF THE SON OF MAN AND DRINK HIS BLOOD, YOU HAVE NO LIFE IN YOU.
54 WHOEVER EATS MY FLESH AND DRINKS MY BLOOD HAS ETERNAL LIFE, AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.
55 FOR MY FLESH IS FOOD INDEED, AND MY BLOOD IS DRINK INDEED.
56 HE WHO EATS MY FLESH AND DRINKS MY BLOOD ABIDES IN ME, AND I IN HIM.
57 AS THE LIVING FATHER SENT ME, AND I LIVE BECAUSE OF THE FATHER, SO HE WHO FEEDS ON ME WILL LIVE BECAUSE OF ME.
58 This is the bread which came down from heaven–not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.
60 THEREFORE MANY OF HIS DISCIPLES, WHEN THEY HEARD THIS, SAID, “THIS IS A HARD SAYING; WHO CAN UNDERSTAND IT?”
61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you?
62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him.
65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”
66 FROM THAT TIME MANY OF HIS DISCIPLES WENT BACK AND WALKED WITH HIM NO MORE.
67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”
68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.
Whoa…imagine the setting? Jesus was teaching in the church of the day. He stood there while all of His disciples stood around listening and I would imagine the Pharisees and religious leaders were there taking notes as well.
Jesus knew the majority of His followers would eventually fall away for they were not chosen for eternal life.
Here He was, ready to drop the bomb of all bombs on them…imagine what you or I would have thought?
You cannot be with Me. You cannot go to heaven. You cannot experience eternal life.
UNLESS…you eat MY FLESH and DRINK MY BLOOD!!
Can you see their faces? Can you see the men standing there doing their best to compose themselves? Picture yourself there, listening trying to (ahem) digest Christ’s words…
Any one of us would have turned back as well. How would you feel if on Sunday morning, you sat there and listened to your pastor tell everyone that he is leaving the church to start a new church. Those of you who wish to follow will have to EAT MY FLESH AND DRINK MY BLOOD!!!
Yeah…right.
So to clear the air over this much understood passage, let’s look at what Christ was actually saying.
How did Jesus open the topic? He talked about manna and how the Hebrews ate the manna and still died. Then He swung the topic around to say that He was the bread of life. What was bread symbolic of in the Scriptures? Sustenance. Life.
He showed how even though the manna came from heaven, it still couldn’t keep the people from dying. But He, being the bread of life, the true sustenance, could give the person who accepted Him eternal life. He was saying in essence, as important it is to eat food and water in order to live, it is even more important to accept and submit to the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for eternal life. His bruised and beaten body and His spilled blood are far more important than food that spoils and is gone tomorrow.
He knew who God was going to give to Him and He wasn’t concerned about them. He knew the majority of His followers (just like today) would turn their backs on Him when the going got tough.
Jesus always had a way with words and every word was pre-planned and said in such a way that those who were blinded and deafened spiritually wouldn’t be able to comprehend.
This is why there is only a small select group of us who get the Gospel and who understand the “hard truths” of Christ.
THERE IS NO CHRISTMAS WITHOUT CHRIST !NOW IS ACCEPTED TIME!! IS THE DAY OF SALVATION!!

How can an unbeliever celebrate Christmas without giving prominence to Christ?
What significance is it to them?
They don’t accept Christ and their Lord and Saviour?
They don’t believe that He is the only way to Heaven.
They don’t want Him in their lives for the first 11 months of the year, only when December comes they become ‘christians’.
Does that makes sense to anyone?
Why is that you never see them celebrate another religion’s festival, only Christmas?
Is it because of the goodies, the booze and the merry-making.
Christ came to save souls not for us to have a drunken feast!
GOSPEL HYMN FOR DAILY STRENGTH–HE CHANGES NOT

Scenes of the world are shifting,
Friends are in time forgot;
But tho’ the mountains crumble,
He changes not.
Winter gives place to springtime,
Winds blow both cold and hot;
Only our God is stable—
He changes not.
Daily we grieve and wonder,
Over man’s changing lot;
Only our God remaineth,
He changes not.
How could we live each moment,
If ever we forgot
The loving God above us,
Who changeth not.

GOSPEL HYMNS FOR DALY STRENGHT
LIFT HIM UP!
“If I be lifted up from the earth, [I] will draw all men unto Me.” John 12:32
Oh! the world is hungry for the Living Bread,
Lift the Savior up for them to see; Trust Him,
and do not doubt the words that He said,
“I’ll draw all men unto Me.”
Don’t exalt the preacher, don’t exalt the pew,
Preach the Gospel simple, full and free;
Prove Him and you will find that promise is true,
“I’ll draw all men unto Me.”
Lift Him up by living as a Christian ought,
Let the world in you the Savior see;
Then men will gladly follow Him who once taught
“I’ll draw all men unto Me.”

FAN OR FOLLOWER ?
ALL COMES DOWN TO LOVE!
I AM NOT A FAN !
Fan: an enthusiastic admirer.
In the Gospels, Jesus never seemed too interested in fans.
Is that how you define your relationship with Him? An “enthusiastic admirer”? Close enough to Jesus to get the benefits but not so close to require sacrifice?
He was looking for followers. Not just any follower though, but a…
completely. committed. follower.
How would things change if you lived as Jesus lived, and loved the way He loved?
Maybe you’re ready to join the hundreds of people who have stepped across a line and said:
I am not a fan.
