CLW-24 IS THE RAPTURE THE GREAT ESCAPE FOR THE CHURCH?
37,701 views Apr 27, 2020Jesus taught such a comforting, hope-filled message of His return to rescue His Church before the Tribulation, that His disciples went everywhere teaching this same truth. When Paul had only a month in a pagan city where he planted a church, the Rapture was central to their doctrine. The Rapture was First Taught by Jesus. The Rapture is a doctrine started and taught by Jesus, continued and spread by His disciples, and believed and passionately lived out by His Church. The early church heard and understood this doctrine of Christ’s any moment return, and radiantly lived, looking for ways to please Him when He came to rescue them. James in the first NT letter said that Christ was standing at the door (5:7). The second NT book was I Thessalonians and every chapter shines with Rapture-induced hope-filled expectancy (1:9-10; 2:19-20; 3:13; 4:13-18; 5:23). Paul’s epistles start to finish, are seasoned with the flavor of a focused life awaiting Christ as in Philippians 3:20 where we as citizens of Heaven await Jesus eagerly, as Paul confesses in his last words of II Timothy 4 where he talks about His crown “at that day” when Jesus comes. Peter says the same, going so far as asking what kind of lives should we live because we know the future (2 Peter 3:11 ). John’s Epistles are the same, in I John 3:2-3 he says that this “hope” causes us to purify our daily life looking for Christ’s coming. In Revelation 3:7, Jesus Christ identifies Himself to the Church at Philadelphia as the One who is True, Holy, and has the unstoppable Messianic Key of David. When Jesus speaks He tells the Truth. When we listen to Him and hear what He says we can have confident assurance that He knows what He is talking about. Jesus Christ taught repeatedly (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21) that His 2nd Coming is to Judge the ungodly. That was the content of every sermon on the future that He ever preached. Each sermon was taught in the context of Israel, was focused upon the Jews, and involved the city of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel. The Rapture is Not The 2nd Coming. But, when Jesus spoke to believers His emphasis was different. Jesus taught His own born-again children of the faith, three bedrock truths about the Rapture or His coming for His Church. These truths are that: the Rapture will be a source of comfort; the Rapture will be similar to the Ascension; and that the Rapture will be an intentional rescue. Those truths, taught by Jesus Christ Himself, constitute the Biblical, doctrinal basis for all that the early church was later taught by the Apostles and which extends to us throughout all the centuries since Christ’s ministry. Îndată am fost în Duh; și, iată, un tron era așezat în cer și pe tron ședea Cineva. Apocalipsa 4.2 Un tron în cer (2) Vedem că „pe tron ședea Cineva“. Aici nu ne este descrisă această Persoană glorioasă, ci, fiind folosite pietre prețioase ca simboluri, ne este prezentată gloria Sa. Trebuie să ne amintim că Dumnezeu este văzut în legătură cu tronul. Nu este vorba de inima Tatălui descoperită prin Fiul, Cel care este în sânul Tatălui – ci de gloria lui Dumnezeu prezentată în Hristos așezat pe un tron care este în legătură cu guvernarea universului. Pietrele prețioase sunt simboluri care prezintă strălucirea gloriei divine în guvernare. Toate acestea sunt manifestate în cer, nu încă și pe pământ, unde vedem guvernarea nedreaptă a omului și îndelunga-răbdare a lui Dumnezeu. Dacă strălucirea tronului s-ar manifesta în această lume păcătoasă, acest lucru ar însemna judecata asupra tuturor oamenilor. Viziunea ne poartă dincolo de ziua harului, către un timp în care Adunarea va fi fost deja răpită la cer, urmând ca lumina tronului să strălucească în judecată asupra pământului. Apoi Ioan vede „un curcubeu, asemenea smaraldului la vedere“ (versetul 3). Din Geneza 9 știm că acest curcubeu vorbește despre legământul veșnic dintre Dumnezeu și orice făptură vie de pe pământ. El vorbește despre binecuvântarea asigurată prin promisiunea divină, o binecuvântare venită însă după judecată. Curcubeul apare după furtună, la fel cum promisiunea binecuvântării lui Dumnezeu a venit după judecata făcută prin potop. Largă este poarta, lată este calea care duce la pieire și mulți sunt cei care intră pe ea. Dar strâmtă este poarta, îngustă este calea care duce la viață și puțini sunt cei care o află.Matei 7.13,14 Fac și eu ce fac alții În piața gării principale din Zürich, cei mai mulți dintre pietonii care stau la semafor așteaptă de obicei până se face verde. Uneori, câte o persoană mai nerăbdătoare traversează strada când este roșu și aproape întotdeauna se găsește cineva care să o urmeze pe aceasta fără să se mai uite la semafor. Pur și simplu traversează drumul, pentru că alții fac tot așa. Observăm adesea în viață acest mod de a acționa. Omul nu se orientează după ceea ce este corect și adevărat, ci după exemplul altora. Dacă, în cel mai rău caz, pe stradă un pieton își poate pierde viața când traversează după altul pe roșu, pe tărâm spiritual este nespus mai periculos să acționezi ca alții, pentru că îți riști viața veșnică. Drumul care duce la Dumnezeu nu este unul lat. Pe calea aceasta nu este loc pentru tot felul de păreri și de aceea nu sunt mulțimi pe ea. Calea spre Dumnezeu este îngustă, pentru că este nevoie de pocăință și de recunoașterea păcatelor. Trebuie să ne supunem Creatorului și să credem în Domnul Isus. Doar puțini merg pe acest drum îngust. Dar este unicul care duce la viață. Isus Hristos ne-a croit acest drum spre Dumnezeu. La cruce, El a făcut ispășire, ca noi să putem fi împăcați cu Dumnezeu. De noi depinde – indiferent de ce fac alții – să pășim pe acest drum prin credință. Citirea Bibliei: Exod 39.22-31 · Luca 18.18-30

România „Nu este niciun alt dumnezeu, care să poată izbăvi ca El”. (Daniel 3:29) Relatarea despre cei trei tineri iudei din cuptorul cu foc ne învață câteva lecții importante: 1) Când faci voia lui Dumnezeu poți avea necazuri. Nu te aștepta ca lumea să te aprecieze. Uită-te la Domnul Isus: „În El era viaţa, şi viaţa era lumina oamenilor. Lumina luminează în întuneric, şi întunericul n-a biruit-o.” (Ioan 1:4-5) 2) Dumnezeu va fi alături de tine în necazul tău. Când Nebucadnețar s-a uitat în cuptor, a remarcat: „Eu văd patru oameni umblând slobozi în mijlocul focului, şi nevătămaţi; şi chipul celui de-al patrulea seamănă cu al unui fiu de dumnezei!” (Daniel 3:25). În loc să-i distrugă pe ei, focul a mistuit funiile care îi țineau legați, lăsându-i în libertate. Îmbărbătează-te! Poate ai impresia că circumstanțele te țin legat, dar Dumnezeu te va elibera și te va scoate victorios. 3) Necazul tău va genera mărturia ta. Oamenii se uită la tine. Pentru că lucrurile în care se încred ei nu dau rezultate, se vor întreba și vor dori să vadă dacă lucrul în care te încrezi tu funcționează. Credincioșia ta față de Dumnezeu și intervenția Sa în viața ta vor atinge viețile lor într-o măsură în care teologia ta nu o va putea face niciodată. Toți cei aflați în Babilon știau ce cred tinerii iudei. Dar ei doreau să afle dacă: „Funcționează credința lor și când ești aruncat în foc?!” Cu siguranță, da! 4) Cu cât necazul tău este mai mare, cu atât mai mare este și binecuvântarea ta. „După aceea, împăratul a înălţat pe Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego la mare cinste, în ţinutul Babilonului” (Daniel 3:30). Iată un principiu biblic pe care te poți baza: când te dovedești credincios în vremuri de necaz, Dumnezeu te va promova și-ți va da mari binecuvântări!

https://clickbible.org/meditatii-zilnice/scripturile-in-fiecare-zi/ Proverbe 24.1‑22 Cei care fac răul pot fi pentru noi, creştinii, fie obiecte ale invidiei (v. 1), fie ale neliniştii (v. 19; Psalmul 37.1). Astfel de sentimente însă nu fac altceva decât să dea la iveală starea noastră spirituală rea. Fie ca vederea sărmanilor păcătoşi să trezească în noi mai degrabă mila şi zelul evanghelic pentru a‑i avertiza şi pentru a‑i salva de la moarte! (Ezechiel 3.18; Fapte 20.26). Să nu invocăm neştiinţa pentru a ne scuza şi a nu face nimic! Cel care cântăreşte inimile (v. 12; comp. cu cap. 21.2) cunoaşte adevăratele noastre motive: lipsa de dragoste, teama de dispreţ, slăbiciunea propriilor convingeri. De ce însă cei răi au adesea o viaţă uşoară, în timp ce credincioşii sunt uneori greu încercaţi? Cheia acestei taine ne este dată printr‑un cuvânt: viitorul. Nu va fi niciun viitor pentru cel rău (v. 20), sfârşitul său este pierzarea, spre care el este mânat fără să se împotrivească (comp. cu Psalmul 73.17). El se poticneşte şi astfel se afundă şi mai mult în rău (v. 16). Dimpotrivă, va fi un viitor (v. 14) pentru acela care a găsit Înţelepciunea, această Înţelepciune divină care este Hristos Însuşi (cap. 8.22). Şi aşteptarea credinciosului nu va fi redusă la neant, pentru că obiectul acestei aşteptări este din nou aceeaşi Persoană: Domnul Isus care vine.
