1 year agoHello, I was born in Iran. Even though I was born into an Islamic family, as a child, I never accepted Islam (but I didn’t really know what to believe at that time). When I turned 19, I met some Christians at the university and eventually I invited my new Christian friends to the “Jesus” movie which was produced by Campus Crusade. That night, after the Jesus movie was over, there was an invitation (a call) to believe and receive the the Lord Jesus and become His follower. I responded to the invitation and I have never looked back. Persecution followed shortly after that. However, because of His great love with which He loved me, I have never looked back. I am more than a conqueror in all these things because He first loved me. My other two sisters also became believers. Now, we three sisters are memorizing Bible verses and encouraging each other through God’s Word. I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ and to my Christian friends who introduced me to the Bible and to Christian living. Why would anybody believe anything else is beyond my understanding. Why would I believe in a system that leads to death and destruction? Praise the Lord for giving His children eternal life beginning here and on this earth. I thank the Lord for all of His blessings. By the way, I really enjoyed this video and “There is Power in the Blood” has always been one of my favorite hymns. I am thankful for the gift of singing and great voice the Lord has given you.
