1 year agoI had the priviledge of spending a whole day with the Wurmbrand’s at their home in California, many years ago, even went ice skating with their grandson. Their joy is so infectious, and he is so full of other stories such as he is relating here, to show God’s mercy in the midst of sufferings that they experienced.23REPLY

2 years agoThese are and were our Romanian greats, giants in the faith of our Lord. Growing up for a part of my life in communist Romania I know well great people of Christian faith who stood strong in the face of communists and served the Lord, even unto death, but how much more sister and brother Wurmbrand stood to defend Christ in those difficult years after the war, I can’t imagine. 1 year agoI don’t mean to be negative, but I believe that if we were still like the persecuted Christians of those times who suffered under communism, the church would grow in Arab countries too. We need to take the equation of politics out of our fight for the gospel.4REPLY
